Eric Wilson is a Director at Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC), a firm specialized in providing outsourced accounting and financial reporting services to nonprofit organizations. He leads YPTC’s Dallas/Fort Worth office, drawing on his nonprofit accounting expertise and deep commitment to the sector to ensure excellence in client service through training, developing, and empowering his team—while expanding the firm’s presence across North Texas.

Eric is a recognized thought leader in nonprofit finance and has shared his expertise as a speaker for national and regional audiences, including the AICPA’s Governmental and Not-for-Profit Training Program, HUD’s National Fair Housing Training Academy, the Texas Society of CPAs Nonprofit Organizations Conference, American Nonprofit Academy’s The Nonprofit Show, the North Texas Nonprofit Institute’s Board Governance Symposium, and the United Way of Greater Houston’s Nonprofit Financial Series. His presentations span a wide range of critical topics including revenue recognition, federal grant compliance, data visualization, workflow automation, charity ratings, and nonprofit financial best practices.

A licensed CPA, Eric holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Texas Tech University. Prior to joining YPTC, he served as an Audit Supervisor at a Houston-based public accounting firm, where he focused on nonprofits and governmental clients—conducting financial statement audits and ensuring compliance with federal grant regulations.
