Daralyn Fulton

Daralyn Fulton is a Research Associate in the Developmental Pediatrics Division at Scottish Rite for Children. She hails proudly from the state of Louisiana, and the city of Baton Rouge. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physics with a concentration in Medical Physics from Dillard University, and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from The University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has always had a love for science, a passion for people, and a drive to be an advocate for underserved communities. She has a strong passion for clinical research due to the necessity of addressing the disparity in the involvement of individuals from underserved communities in clinical trials. Clinical Research is the driving force behind the advancement of medicine, procedures, and the overall improvement of patient outcomes. She has had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in many different therapeutic areas ranging from Laser Optics, and how they aid in ophthalmic surgical procedures to the use of Neural Networks and how they aid healthcare professionals in the accuracy of diagnoses.

In her spare time, Daralyn loves to travel the world, try new cuisines, make memories with family and friends, and play with her turtle Sebastian.
