Please join us in welcoming our newest Partner Alesia Coffman.  Alesia is a financial advisor with Crockett & Associates, a multigenerational wealth management team in Dallas, Texas.  Alesia brings more than two decades of experience advising high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational families, entrepreneurs, C-Suite Executives, business owners, and institutional/non-profit organizations.

After a 25-year career in traditional finance, Alesia went looking for a new challenge and was given an opportunity to become a Managing Member of Foundation Block Management, a digital assets company.  In late 2023, however, she realized that it was in the traditional financial space where she most enjoyed working holistically with her clients.  In January 2024, Alesia was honored and excited to align herself with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and join the well-respected, award-winning team, Crockett & Associates.

Prior to joining Merrill, Alesia was Executive Director/ Wealth Manager at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Dallas.  In addition, she has spent more than twenty years serving private wealth clients and non-profit intuitions with Bank of America Private Bank, True North Advisors and Westwood Holdings.  She is an experienced wealth management executive with deep understanding of complex investment strategies, portfolio design, risk-reward relationships, correlations, and diversification.  She has extensive experience in managing large portfolios across a wide array of asset classes, including traditional equities, alternatives, income strategies, infrastructure, REITS, and real assets in conjunction with a wide variety of vehicles, including separate account management, fund of funds, ETFs, and private fund vehicles.

Alesia is passionate about serving her clients with their entire financial picture in mind, partnering with trust and estate teams, banking teams, tax teams and building relationships with other advisors and family members at every level.   She is an excellent communicator with a long track record of building collaborative relationships with her clients. She is patient, kind and conducts a thorough, in depth understanding of each client’s unique set of wealth objectives and goals. By spending time getting to know her clients and families intimately, she is able to align appropriate opportunities and solutions along the way.  She believes that wealth management is not just about picking the right stock or completing the next transaction, it’s about having character, building trust, maintaining integrity, and doing what’s right for her clients.

For many clients, divorce can be one of the largest financial transactions of their lives.  Alesia has helped many clients navigate the emotional and financial stresses during this life-changing event.  As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) professional, she has prepared many aspects of a client’s wealth plan before, during, and after the divorce process with care, consideration, and compassion.  Organized and focused, Alesia believes in building strong, long-term relationships with her clients during all iterations of their lives.

Early in her career she began advising and serving alongside investment committees of non-profit organizations, foundations and endowments. First starting with RFPs and investment policy statements, then ultimately providing long-term investment solutions from liquidity strategies to strategic long-term investment plans. She views this segment as an opportunity to marry her love of service with her love of purpose and community.  Alesia enjoys partnering with philanthropic organizations by understanding the purpose of their assets, knowing about their mission, their history, and the community they serve.  She learned early on in her career that filling the gaps and providing professional resources to our cherished neighborhood organizations, is one of the best ways to help those who are helping others. She is well-versed in philanthropy, guiding her individual clients who give, as well as her institutional clients who give back.Alesia has served on the executive board of the American Cancer Society, as a member and Co-Chair of NEXUS Recovery Center, she is currently a host committee member of Dec My Room, New Friends New Life, Cattle Baron’s, and Genesis Women’s Shelter, as well as a sustaining member of the Junior League of Dallas, she is a current member of the Dallas Estate Planning Council and the National Association for Professional Women (NAPW).
