We are people for whom improving our community is part of our life’s journey – whether we work in the nonprofit or corporate world. We are volunteers, parents, community leaders, philanthropists – a global network of local partners connecting passion and purpose. We see the chasm between the challenges we face today as a society, and the scale at which we are engaging those challenges. And we’re ready to cross that chasm. Together. We believe that nothing truly great is accomplished alone. Every person in our network has something to teach and something to learn. We are never satisfied, never settled. We know we have more to give, and that more needs to be done. Most importantly, we believe it can be. Where others see insurmountable problems, we see potential.

With more than 3,500 members from Boston to Bangalore, SVP is the world’s largest network of engaged philanthropists.

In the DFW Metroplex we have over 200 Social Venture Partners. They range from filmmakers to financial managers, from nonprofit leaders to corporate veterans, and from foundation executives to people just beginning to explore their giving potential.

If you want to make a difference – and a bigger difference then you could alone – you’ll want to meet these folks.

Every story is different, but each is fueled by a series of connections. That’s the beauty of the SVP network. You never know who will take your impact to the next level.

SVP is both local and global

On the one hand, this is philanthropy rooted in your backyard. Our Partners invest money, time and skills in nonprofits that share their immediate community.

One the other hand, our Partners are part of a 3500+ global network of philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and change-makers. They share common ideals, similar struggles, and can tap into a wealth of experience and knowledge through cross-city forums and SVP’s annual conference .

There are 39 SVP network member organizations from Boston to Bangalore (and new ones crop up every year). The SVP Network Office is the invisible backbone, the hub that links our member organizations and their Partners, allowing them to convene and learn from one another, while fostering new SVPs throughout the world.
